Will there be any complications if you need a security clearance?
There should be none whatsoever. I'm about the cleanest person one could imagine, from a security risk standpoint. I'm third generation American (on my shortest side). I've never been addicted to anything (I even avoid caffeine and aspirin); I'm not even sure that I have a credit rating, because I've never been in debt, and I always pay my bills on time.
